A 5-minute walk from Oberhof town centre, this traditional hotel offers a spacious wellness area, brightly decorated rooms, and regional cuisine. It stands in a large park in the Thuringian Forest. Property was excellent, on great location. Room well equiped, bed more than comfortable. Extra clean, the cleanest hotel which I was. Everything was perfect. Breakfast also was excellent, with huge variety of nice food. Hotel for grade 10.

Offering a garden and city view, Bergpanorama Ruhla is located in Ruhla, 18 km from Automobile Welt Eisenach and 19 km from Luther House Eisenach. This place is on top of a hill, on the edge of Ruhla and you get a lovely view of the mountains and forest around. As far as I could see, there are five units (called bungalows) with private bathroom and kitchen. Ours was one of the smaller ones, perfect for a couple. The unit has all the necessary facilities, it is homey and the view is just gorgeous. There is a private terrace for each unit, plus an enclosure with a few cool-looking alpacas. You really need your own wheels as there are no shops or restaurants nearby. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes drive away.

Located in a historic 19th-century villa, this modern hotel enjoys a picturesque setting in the popular winter sports resort. Lovely setting, short walk into the town centre. Facilities were nice and the villa set back from the main hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and diverse.

Set in Oberhof and with Train Station Suhl reachable within 17 km, Konsum Gästehaus Quisisana - Oberhof offers a tour desk, allergy-free rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi throughout the property and... Great value for money, however with some GDR charme. Central location and with parking in the back. Didn't use the spa at the nearby hotel in the end, but it would have been included.

The food was also very well prepared and delicious. That the event was in the hotel was also practical. The staff was very tolerant and pleasant.
