Mortens Kro Boutique Hotel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Aalborg. Outstanding service, and the “take away” breakfast was really outstanding and exceptionally above anything we expect. The staff went above and beyond they are normal duties.

This quiet, family-owned property, set in a country house from the early 1800s, is 5 minutes’ drive from Aalborg Train Station. Big rooms, no noice and nearby the airport.

The house was really nice and clean, but in reality much smaller then it appears on the photos. The ladies at the reception were very winsome and helpful, a swimming pool next to the facility was complimentary and it was close to the beach. If you bring your own bedding, you don’t have to rent it for 90 DKK per person.

This hotel is located by the scenic Skive Fjord. It offers an à la carte restaurant and spacious accommodation with free Wi-Fi and views of Skive Marina or the Krabbeholm Forest. We initially intended to stay there for two night, but extended our stay to four night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a discount for the two additional nights because of our connection to the Krabbeholm Höjskole (Collage).

Facing the beachfront, Hvalpsund Færgekro offers 3-star accommodation in Hvalpsund and features a terrace, restaurant and bar. Lovely place, beautiful view, lovely people. We had a very nice time. Definitely we will come back one day!
