This Steigenberger hotel is situated in the heart of Luxor and provides modern accommodation with stunning views of the Nile. The spacious rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV. For us Luxor ended up being a city where we just wanted to see the temples and tombs, without exploring around, so having those fantastic restaurants at the hotel was everything we needed. Delicious food, excellent service, gentle people. The guy preparing drinks at breakfast tries his best to prepare something you'll enjoy. The staff is extremely hard working, nobody stops for a minute! And the result is a place very well maintained and guests very well looked after. A true 5 star experience in every way. Wi-fi was also excellent (we work remotely and didn't have any problems.)

Nile Carnival Cruise 4nt Lxr Thursday 3nt Asw Monday se nachází v ideální lokalitě ve čtvrti East bank v destinaci Luxor. Prožili jsme s partnerem opravdu krásný a pohodový týden na této lodi. Před naloděním nás přivítal manažer lodi pan Maher Aziz, který byl nápomocen po celou dobu plavby, je to muž na správném místě. Dalším milým překvapením byl ovocný koš v kajutě a jmenovka na stole v jídelně. Jsou to maličkosti ,ale velice potěší a máte pocit ,že jste opravdu vítáni. Celý personál je milý, úslužný a cítíte se jako na návštěvě u přátel. Jídlo chutné ,v dostatečném množství, kajuta prostorná ,postele pohodlné, další milé překvapení byla vana v koupelně (kajuta-apartmán). Večerní, zábava a program ve společenské místnosti. Na palubě bazénky na osvěžení ,lehátka na opalování ,či lenošení. Je možné zakoupit výlety za poznáním památek, toho jsem nevyužila ,nebotˇ to nebyla má první plavba na této lodi ,pro partnera ano, ale naším cílem byla jen pohodová plavba a to se povedlo s nemalým přispěním personálu ,v čele s panem Maherem. Rádi se opět vrátíme, Světlana a Alexander

It’s a very authentic style hotel in the West Bank watching the other side of the river Nile. Very nice personnel especially Khaled is a very attentive waiter and Hend at the reception. Always on time. We used their transfer to the airport, also long trips to Qena and Sohag, Valley of the Kings, very accommodating property.

The apartment is large and very clean and comfortable. One of the best we had in Egypt. Friendly and responsive owner and staff, welcoming us with fresh fruit. For a fee you can use the whirlpool on the wonderful rooftop with Nile view.. great for sunsets! Great restaurants and shops nearby. Convenient. And not far from Karnak temple.

I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to visit and is an adventurous traveler wishing for an authentic Egyptian environment, specially if not rushing and staying for longer (we spent 8 nights in Luxor). The Nile Spirit is a small B&B, with pool and yard, it also has an upstairs terrace where you can enjoy Nile views, and the balloons as well. The owner is very attentive and so is his team, always ready to please us and they even did laundry for us without any extra charge. The neighborhood is rustic, but safe, just one block from the Nile, good restaurants and shops at a stone’s throw. We were happy we stayed there instead of in the busy touristy area. We paid 100 EGP for two to cross the river on a small boat, and 25 EGP one way on the ferry (okay but recommend the boat, it’s faster and prettier). Indrive was approximately 100/150ish to take us just about anywhere, 200 for longer distances, with tip. Also since we went to the different valleys (Kings, Queens, Nobles, Deir El Medina) and Carter’s house, they were all just a short ride away. Our host, Hamdi, was very helpful and walked around the riverfront with us to show the market, restaurants, ATM and recommend a person for boat service. Oh last but not least, he kindly prepared cappuccinos for us.

Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor 3 Night And Luxor to Aswan 4 Night se nachází v destinaci Jazīrat al ‘Awwāmīyah a nabízí bar, wellness centrum a výhled na bazén. The cruise staff were amazing and very friendly. We loved the temples and our tour guide Hisham. Highly recommend it
