Featuring sea views, Amon guest house offers accommodation with a private beach area and a balcony, around 1.5 km from Abu Simbel Temples. The owner is a friendly and welcoming person. he welcomed us and picked us up from Abu Simbel airport for free. it was a pity to stay only 1 night. I recommend to stay at least 2 nights to enjoy Abu Simbel temple at night and also the sunrise boat ride with view of the temple. breakfast was also great. Big thank you and looking forward staying again.

El Sofitel Legend Old Cataract es troba al desert de Núbia, a la riba del Nil, davant de l'illa Elefantina, i ofereix habitacions i suites elegants. A més, disposa de piscines exteriors i cobertes. We're budget travelers who wanted to splash out for a night at the legendary hotel and we are so glad we did. The pool is fantastic, the staff very friendly and let us use the spa facilities before our check in time which, from a long, hot, walk from the train station was very welcome. The breakfast was delightful and the views 10/10. P.s. I think the staff are told not to accept tips as we tried a couple of times and seemed to upset people so be aware.

Perfect overnight stay for visiting Abu Simbel Highly recommend this place! Only 15 minutes walking from Abu Simbel, you can be there easily first in the morning. Adil was super welcoming and generous. The room was very clean and spacious, nice hot shower. I really loved my stay and actually wish I had some more time to swim in the river in front of the hotel. After my visit to AS, Adil treated me to coffee and homebaked sweets. He also helped my for my transport back to Aswan. I took a taxi to get there from Aswan and I could have saved that money if I had asked Adil first (tip!).
