I stayed only one glorious day and night at the world class BenBen resort and Spa on Hissa Island and would have lingered much longer had time allowed. From reservations (Thank you Dhara and Nardeen) and arrival, via a water shuttle, available 24:7 (call to reserve for your departure from the “Port”, ) through departure , attention was paid to every detail. A golf cart took us and our luggage up the rope lighted, arbored hill to reception where we were greeted before sunrise with fresh pomegranate juice and a cool moist cotton cloth to cool our brow and neck. We met friends already staying there and watched the sunrise over the Nile and and Phillae Temple. Al fresco breakfast, included with the room was fresh, delicious and served with a smile. Mustaffa, the food and beverage manager was always available to translate to English assuring our orders were correct. My suite was magnificent, with superior views of the Nile and the Infinity pool from every room, including the shower and spacious private patio yet with perfect privacy. The spacious high ceiling entry/sitting room with couch and beautiful rugs, art lighted nooks throughout, felt at once like a palace, and the coziness of home. An In-room jacuzzi makes a perfect setting for couples, although not hot during this season. The meditation area at the lookout with pillowed sitting bench and granite boulder pinnacle offered fantastic views and located on an earth energy grid directly connected to Phillae Temple. I highly recommend the locally specific massages beautifully given by delightful Zeinab,: a Nile mud massage and an Herbal “Stamp massage”— which was quite hot, yet ultimately relaxing for the spine and chakras. Every one of the staff was gracious, accommodating and cheerful, an obvious reflection of the manager, Mr. Fekry, whose desire to make your stay a memorable experience. Indeed it was.

Kato Dool Wellness Resort localiza-se em Aswan, a 19 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan, e fornece acomodações com uma piscina exterior, estacionamento privado gratuito, um jardim e um salão partilhado. Todo o hotel é lindo e colorido, desde a recepção com pinturas da história Nubia, quartos espaçosos e confortáveis, aos espaços comuns limpos e arranjados. Além do espaço estar muito bem cuidado, está situado na parte mais alta da vila Nubia, com uma vista magnifica sobre o Nilo. Possui também uma grande piscina com esta vista. Os funcionários são muito amigáveis e prestáveis, sempre com um sorriso e prontos a ajudar inclusive um questão de transferes. Fizemos 2 refeições muito boas, além de um excelente pequeno almoço.

Localizado no Deserto da Núbia, nas margens do Nilo, em frente à Ilha Elefantina, o Sofitel Legend Old Cataract apresenta quartos e suites elegantes. Disponibiliza piscinas interiores e exteriores. O ambiente deste hotel faz-nos viajar no tempo, é um antigo palácio muito bem decorado mas muito atual ao mesmo tempo. O pequeno almoço é muito bom, a zona da piscina com vista para o rio nilo é magnifica. Todos os espaços foram decorados ao mais pequeno pormenor. O staff foi muito atencioso

ACHERTOD Nubian House encontra-se em Naj‘ al Maḩaţţah, a 21 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan e 2,9 km de Museu Nubian. Aladdin the owner was so helpful and accommodating. He would make sure we got where we wanted to go and that we had all that we needed. Very peaceful spot on the Nile.

I had an amazing experience on the Prince Abbas , Lake Nasser Cruise, which I took from Aswan to Abu Simbel. This cruise is operated by Mövenpick, and everything about the experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, and I was pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade, which made the trip even more special. The service was excellent, the staff were extremely professional and friendly, and the food was outstanding throughout the entire cruise. I would like to sincerely thank all the crew members for their effort and hospitality. A special thanks to Abdullah, the Front Office Manager, for his professionalism and kindness, and Mr. Nasr Hashem, the Ship Manager, for running such a high-quality and well-organized cruise. Lake Nasser is truly one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, and I strongly believe it is a destination everyone should visit at least once. The Prince Abbas , Lake Nasser cruises is among the most beautiful cruises in the world, and I highly recommend this experience to everyone. I will definitely come back again, and I highly recommend it to all travelers.

Exótico resort no meio do Nilo, numa ilha perto do centro de Assuão. Com 28 hectares de jardins, magníficas vistas para so rio Nilo, as montanhas e a cidade de Assuão. Vista maravilhosa, funcionários muito atenciosos, prestáveis e simpáticos. Quarto confortável e com uma vista incrível.

Situated on the Nile River in the downtown, Tolip Aswan Hotel offers views of the Nile. It features a fully equipped gym, a table tennis and various entertainments options such as bowling and cinema. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent overlooking the pool and river. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd like to commend the Mr. Aref and Mr. Mohamed.

Nubian Holiday House Aswan encontra-se em Aswan, a 7,6 km de Mausoléu Aga Khan, e apresenta acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. O quarto e a roupa de cama estavam muito limpos e a recepção foi muito agradável. As pessoas eram muito gentis e sempre dispostas a ajudar. O café da manhã é feito na hora e bem preparado. O local do café da manhã é no terraço com vista para o rio Nilo. A casa estava bem limpa e arrumada, muito bem cuidada.

Golden Sun House II encontra-se em Abu Simbel e providencia um jardim e um salão partilhado. Massive apartment. Lots of beds and space. Great for a family or group of travellers. The host was polite and provided breakfast too.
