From the host's warm welcome and hospitality, to the beautiful rooms and their incredibly comfortable beds, to the bountiful breakfast and the amazing backyard and common rooms, I felt as if I was staying at a friend's grand manor house. I cannot recommend it enough. I wish we had time to stay even longer!

Boasting a spa and wellness centre and views of river, L'hacienda is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Tartas, 28 km from Mont de Marsan Train Station. Surprisingly nice B&B-like hotel in a converted barn/farm? And with an owner who cares. We enjoyed the large four-person room very much, the two double beds are in separate spaces so that's nice. The breakfast is very complete, can be taken on the terrace or in the large patio inside. From the outside it looks very unassuming, but the conversion has been done well, with some quirky details, a large fitness room, a games room and a library that make you want to stay for a few days instead of just passing by.

Located 29 km from Dax Train Station, MAISON PRATS features accommodation in Audon with access to spa facilities. The host is very friendly. We loved the pool in the garden which brought a lot of fun timr for my son. Dogs of owner are so cool walking around. We love dogs so it was an additional joy for us :) if we are ever around passing through France again, than we will come back !

La Maison Bisca, a property with a terrace, is situated in Biscarrosse-Plage, 800 metres from Sud Beach, 30 km from La Coccinelle, as well as 30 km from Kid Parc. I absolutely loved the decor. Everything was so well thought out and organized. Very relaxed and spacious. The location was perfect. You can park your car and not use it during your stay! You can easily walk to the beach from the house. The dune du pyla is only a 20 mins drive away!! We loved the darts, the use of the children's body board and the skim board. Thank Mathieu and Louna for a fantastic stay. And a huge well done Mathieu for visualizing and realising this incredible place! It's obvious that alot of love, care and thought has gone into it. I booked this with my two boys who are 14 and 11 as I wanted them to experience staying in a hostel. To help open their eyes to a travelling world and how hostels work. They absolutely loved it. Fully recommend!!

Les Échasses Golf & Surf Eco Lodge in Saubion has 4-star accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. This place is a hidden jewel, away from the crowds. It has a lot of character, with Danish and Japanese vibe in the decoration. We felt welcome and comfortable in common areas as well.

Les Hôtes Landes in Saint-Gor provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. Very nice place and lovely owners. Like paradise on earth. And at a more than reasonable privé. Will hopefully be back!
