Offering a garden and river view, Erreka Txikia is set in Urrugne, 5.2 km from Saint Jean de Luz Train Station and 5.8 km from Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church. Convenient and beautiful location perfect for stopping on our way back from Spain. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts. As did our 2 dogs :-) Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk our dogs straight from the door, round lovely streets and semi rural tracks with views of the mountains. There was a communal area where we could make tea and coffee and there was a fridge and microwave. We were invited to eat our own food there if we wished. Our room was dark and quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. The hosts went to extra trouble to provide a vegan breakfast for us which we really appreciated.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Gites Mendiburia features accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The gite has all the facilities that you would need. Very nice view over the valley. The breakfast was delicious. For us as camino walkers it was a nice treat to be in such a comfortable place. In summertime the swimming pool will also be nice to enjoy

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, ETCHE ARGUINIA CHAMBRES HOTES et SPA is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Montory, 18 km from Kakuetta Gorges. Quiet and peaceful with great views and wonderful hospitality from our hosts. Both the room and the bathroom were clean, spacious and well appointed. We arrived on our bicycles, after a hot day of riding. Our bicycles were safely stored in the garage, we then had a swim, followed by a cold beer by the pool. We then met the extended family, three dogs, one cat, seven donkeys and the chickens. Our lovely host provided us with dinner, which we had requested the day before. Breakfast the next morning was served outside by the pool. We were able to have breakfast at 7:30 which was much to our liking. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Boasting garden views, Maison Elizondoa - chambres, restaurant et SPA provides accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge, around 47 km from Dax Train Station. The property was handy for the motorway north. We had a well equipped bedroom and ensuite. A lovely breakfast with homemade jams and pastries. After eating breakfast we wished we had booked for dinner. Maybe next time?

Ostapé is a 5-star hotel located in the village of Bidarray, halfway between the mountains and Biarritz on the coast, which is a 30-minute drive away. Absolutely beautiful location and incredibly friendly staff.
