Other than the lovely hosts our only other guests would’ve been the odd hen whose appearance was noticeable by the footsteps in the snow. The property had everything we could want for a winter weekend away, the log fire was easy to operate, the underfloor heating was spot on, the bed huge and comfortable and the outdoor hot tub inviting. There’s something special about sitting in a hot tub when there’s snow all around. The kitchen area had everything we needed, the shower room clean and the rain shower hot. The hosts were very friendly giving us the privacy we wanted and the advice we needed. A number of clearly stated ‘how to’ guides are dotted around the lodge so we never needed to ask anything. Sooz knows the area very well so the advice given about places to visit and where to eat was invaluable. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, felt totally relaxed and would definitely come here again.

One of the best places I've stayed! The location was easy to get to, even via public transport. The site is beautiful and private and has everything needed and more! The dome is beautiful and has lovely homely touches. It was plenty warm enough and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking - the Tesco 10 minutes walk away was ideal. The hot tub was amazing and we will 100% be back. Steve provided firewood and lots of local knowledge!
