Situado nas colinas verdes abaixo do Castelo de Platamonas, o Hotel Kymata oferece vistas impressionantes do Monte Olimpo e do cintilante Mar Egeu. O restaurante do hotel serve pratos de peixe fresco.... This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us. On our arrival we were greeted right at the door by the very welcoming and professional staff. We collected our key and then we discovered that the hotel had upgraded us to a room facing the sea at no extra cost. To top it off, our room was much more comfortable than we were expecting in terms of furnishings. The bed was huuuge, a true king size one with just the right softness. We slept like babies. The balcony was very cozy and since the hotel is located right on the sea shore you can enjoy both the sight and the sound of the waves at your leisure since it feels like you are on the beach. Breakfast was another surprise. The food is served at the table by a very polite waitress. It comes in a standard setup, with eggs prepared at your preference along with some cold cuts, pastries, sweets and fruit for desert. We chose to have an omelette and were delighted by it, both by the size and the taste. It was delicious. We're convinced. We're coming back here for sure.

The villa is located in a truly unique spot on Mount Olympus, offering breathtaking views both towards the mountains and the seaside. Waking up to such scenery felt magical every single day. The area is very calm and peaceful — perfect for relaxing and recharging. At the same time, it’s conveniently close to everything you may need: just a 5-minute drive to the nearest town with shops and restaurants, and only about 20 minutes away from the seaside, where we discovered some lovely beaches. It really combines the best of both worlds — the serenity of the mountain and easy access to the sea. The villa itself is exceptional: super clean, airy, and modern, with great attention to detail in every corner. You can really feel the care that has gone into making the space comfortable and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel both away from everything and yet close enough to enjoy local experiences. Also, the hosts were amazing, super helpful and easy to communicate to. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind in a beautiful, authentic setting!
