Ubicado a 8 minutos a pie de Playa de Potos, Thassos OLIVIA RESORT ofrece una pileta al aire libre en temporada, un jardín y alojamiento con aire acondicionado, balcón y wifi gratis. I have stayed at Olivia Resort for two nights with my family and I've truly felt at home. 🏠 This place has such a warm and welcoming vibe and a lot of character. The architecture, interiors and landscaping were all aesthetically top-notch. The mattresses are great quality and even the sofa bed was quite comfy. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. (I can't praise them enough for putting a new kitchen sponge in its package!) There were some sustainability measures such as sensors that prevented air-conditioner to work if there were open windows or doors, and hot water coming from the solar panels. They also had various measures to prevent mosquitoes bothering the guests. Looking at all the details and in light of our lovely conversations, I believe the biggest difference Olivia Resort has is definitely its owners and their love and motivation to create the best experience for their guests. Valen Mare Suites were an exceptional choice for our holiday in Thassos. Very close to one of the best beaches on the whole island (Golden Beach, about 4-5 minutes away on foot). Our room (maisonette) was very accommodating and had all the facilities we wanted. The beds were comfy and we had a small kitchen that was more useful than we initially thought (apparently Greeks don't have a breakfast culture, as most taverns are closed in the morning, so we unfortunately had to cook on our holiday, as well). A big, big thank you to Nicole for how nice and attentive to details she was! We've never had a room this clean every single day, not even in 5-star hotels. She even did the dishes on the couple of occasions when we didn't do them ourselves! All in all, she was of great help during our stay. Lucia, if you're reading this - just know that you've struck gold with Nicole and you should treasure her!
