The location was superb. That is, away from busy towns, nestled down a rough track road so little to no traffic noise. Very peaceful location with amazing views towards the mainland. There are two main pools and a whirlpool but the private beach is only a short walk down the path where the sea is clear and good for snorkelling. I cannot praise Costa and his small team highly enough. They are just so friendly and relaxed and run the place so well. There is no kitchen but there are two tavernas and a pub within a ten minute walk up on the main road which are all traditional Greek serving amazing food with amazing views. An amazing visit that we won't forget.

Perfect stay at Contessina : the place is gorgeous, both the rooms and common areas, you can feel that the staff really cares about making sure you have a perfect stay, and it's very central to explore the many beautiful places of Zakynthos ! We will come back !

It was an amazing, quiet, nice place in the middle of "party town" Laganas. This is the place if you want to stay near the crowds but enjoy quiet time as well. The breakfast was always perfect. Our host, Panos, was very nice and followed up for any help we needed or any questions we asked. He always had the best advice for restaurants and places to visit. When we got stranded in Zakynthos due to weather, the hotel was fully booked but the hotel helped us find a nice accommodation for the night next door. Definitely recommended.

Kalamaki şehrinde, Kalamaki Plajı noktasına 1 km'den az mesafede bulunan Golden Sun Resort - Adults Only tesisi sezonluk açık yüzme havuzu, ücretsiz özel park yeri, bahçe ve ortak oturma alanı olanağı... Every staff member was so welcoming and friendly - always checking how we were and they couldn't do enough for us. They really made the place extra special. Good choice for breakfast and lovely fresh juice. I'm gluten-intolerant and they were able to provide a really nice GF bread. The room was lovely and having our private pool was wonderful, but the communal pool was also beautiful if you wanted a change of scenery. All areas were always sparkling clean. The hotel was close to the beach and a very short walk to the restaurants. We hired a car and enjoyed exploring as there wouldn't be enough for us to be only in Kalamaki for a week.
