Patrick and Anna are so nice and accommodating! Their home is beautiful and the room was perfect. A lovely breakfast in the room. The location is a bit far out, but if you have a car, it is well worth the drive. There is a cliff walk in a little village that Patrick recommended and it was a perfect end to our day! We were so happy with the place, and the price was amazing!!

Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Knockreagh Farm Cottages, Callan, Kilkenny is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Kilkenny, 14 km from Kilkenny Castle. I had read the great reviews beforehand and was pleasantly surprised to see that they were all spot on. The accommodation itself was great and perfect for us (3 adults, 3 kids). Mike had the fridge stocked with essentials for us, including items for a fry. We had brought a few things ourselves but I don't think we needed to use them. Mike mentioned to us about the bar next door to our farmhouse, "could we pull our own pints?" It was great to be able to have a couple of self poured complimentary pints while playing a game of pool! There was a small outdoor play area for the kids which we didn't get a chance to use properly as we were out most of both days we were there. There was also a communal hot tub and sauna, again we would've loved to use but didn't have the time. I definitely recommend this property for a stay, especially for families. Its about 10mins from Kilkenny and a great base to explore that part of the country.
