After a rough journey and arriving a full day late due to a cancelled flight, I was welcomed so warmly that all the stress instantly melted away. During the week, you practically have the beach to yourself. You can swim in the ocean for hours without another person in sight. Watching the fishermen at work, collecting seashells, spotting dolphins and all kinds of birds – where do you still find that these days? And in the evenings, sitting by the water and watching the sunset is simply magical. The boulders along the shore might break up the “perfect postcard look,” but they’re essential for protecting the coast. The staff is incredibly friendly. There’s a very family-like atmosphere here, and it really rubs off on the guests too. You feel at home from day one. And if you want to explore the area, the team organize excursions for you. The food is outstanding. There aren’t any restaurants within walking distance, but honestly, you won’t miss them. The chef’s cooking is fantastic, and the prices are very fair. I stayed in the large room with the private pool. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive, but absolutely worth it. Waking up with a direct view of the beach and the ocean from your bed is priceless. The room is spacious, with a large dressing area, a clean modern bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. The garden is beautifully maintained, and the main pool is lovely. Depending on my mood, I spent my days by the sea, reading and swimming at the main pool, or winding down in my private pool in the evening. After my stressful job at home I was looking for true rest and relaxation, this place has absolutely everything you need. I’ll definitely be coming back — and next time, I’m staying longer.

They have helped us organise our time around the area, offering suggestionss and arranging transport. Sabine, Pradeep's mother, have cooked us breakfast and dinner too one night. It was delicious. We felt like home and highly recommend to stay with them.

The most peaceful location beside Lake Vembanad, the saltwater pool is lovely to dip in, the staff so friendly, the cottages are so lovely and spacious but the highlight has to be the food. Incredible meals! I will definitely be back.
