Hosts were lovely, gave us a lot of recommendations and told us a lot about Iceland. They were very helpful letting us checking in late after a long drive. The place is clean and nice and they really think about every little detail! Highly recommended!

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. This little house cannot be called luxury, but it is incredibly cozy. We had the best three days of our 2-weeks journey around Iceland in this place. It is especially well equipped with every little detail to make you feel at home and relaxed. The kitchen has everything one might think of. Small but very cozy bedroom, where you feel like in a cradle and don't want to leave. Thank you very much to the owner who has thought of everything with love and care! Very much recommended!!!

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. They were very kind on our requests, especially for the late check in! Even the breakfast was very good.

Situated in Stóri-Bakki in the East Iceland region, Lindarhóll Guesthouse features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The place is beautiful and very comfortable, exactly as the photos show. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super friendly, helpful and nice. We absolutely love it!!
