The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with modern touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail — everything from the high-quality toiletries to the luxurious linens. Breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to key attractions and shops. It’s perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I can’t say enough about the level of service at the Castle. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests, and they made me feel right at home. The attention to detail, comfort, and overall experience made my stay truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and look forward to staying here again in the future!

We did not have time, but there are several thermal tubs near the sea (maintained with some facilities for a fee and also some others for free where you are on your own).

A special little guesthouse, the host was amazing and offered us dinner (the most delicious soups) and a great breakfast and was very nice and welcoming. The rooms were a little old (the door non fell down) but they were big comfortable and very unique. It all felt like a true homey iceland experience The location is nice and dark enough to see the northern light on a good night Loved this place!
