We spent 3 nights at Casanova Bluelife in Trieste and overall had a great stay. The location is excellent – just a 3-minute walk from the train station and with a nice grocery store right at the bottom of the hill. The apartment itself is very modern and secure, with multiple keypad entry points and a front door that feels like opening a vault. The layout worked well for our group of 3 singles: two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor, and a third bedroom in a loft-style space upstairs with its own bathroom. Since the loft is open, it’s not 100% private, but it still feels separate. The loft level also features two terraces, one with a small hot tub (really only suited for 1–2 people at a time). On the main floor, the terrace has an outdoor dining table that was perfect for gathering, enjoying meals, and taking in the beautiful sunset views. The kitchen is minimally stocked with basic essentials, but note there is only an electric cooktop and microwave—no oven. We are big coffee drinkers and ended up buying a small coffee maker nearby (about €30), since the provided stovetop percolator was too small for us. There is also an electric kettle for hot water. Inside, the apartment is minimalist but comfortable, though there aren’t many indoor spaces to lounge together as a group aside from the outdoor dining area. The views, however, are incredible, and the location is very walkable (though do expect a short uphill climb from the station). Accessing the apartment can be a bit of a process, with several steps depending on whether you’re coming from the street or the parking garage, but once inside, it feels extremely secure. The host was responsive throughout, and we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice host that they were always in contact to provide check-in information. Although it was quite late when we arrived, she was awake to pick up our call. They were very nice when they prepared breakfast and they prepared time that we asked.

The hotel, location, and staff were all incredible — we enjoyed our stay a lot. We also wanted to highlight how wonderful Roberto and Macarena from the breakfast team were — extremely kind, polite, and professional. Pavle from the beach staff was also incredibly helpful.
