We really appreciated the small things; the welcome note and chocolate, the welcome Prosecco, the attentive response of staff, help booking dinners, turn down service. We felt extremely well cared for and we would come back in a heartbeat. We did not have time to fully take advantage of the hotel offerings as there was so much for us to see in Florence. The breakfast is so beautiful and the cocktails to die for. Returning to Florence would be in part enticing to be able to return to La Gemma.

Everything was perfect. the room was clean, all the utensils, cookware all in the kitchen looks new. they gave me a welcome wine bottle. bathroom is spacious. there were washing machine and dryer at the basement , u have to download the app to pay when usiing them. the staff were very friendly too. i would definitely stay here again when i visit florence again. superb!!

This resort features an 18-hole golf course and is 2 km from the medieval village of Saturnia, in the Tuscan Maremma. Everything! Grounds and surrounding area - beautiful. Location perfect if visiting the Saturnia springs near by. Hotel is located on its own natural thermal spring which although a bit stinky (sulphur) - you get used to it. The hotel facilities were fantastic. Giovanni in the restaurant was wonderful and welcoming and has great stories of his experience. We had some of the best meals in the restaurant at the hotel. Very very pleased we made the trip and stayed here.

Attention to detail with every aspect of this appartment. Loved the fact that there was a bottle you could refill with water from the breakfast room saving on plastics. Also all toilteries very high quality. Would of loved to buy some to take home no room in suitcase. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Very pleasant staff. Quiet appartment with all the facilities of a hotel. Beautiful beaches in the area. Lovely restaurants. Will be back.

This 11th century Tuscan farmhouse is nestled in the beautiful Florentine hills, amongst private gardens where you can enjoy al fresco dining. All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.

Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace. The property was beautiful and very clean! The staff were amazing. They went out of the way to assist with travel arrangements.
