The property is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was very large with comfortable futon mattresses. We had a separate area with a table and tatami mats and cushions which we used for eating snacks and relaxing. The community bath was exquisite - clean, several separate baths, and a large gorgeous mosaic made the area very calming and luxurious. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

By far the best hotel experience we had in our 1 month long trip to Japan. Hotel was easy to find with free parking and an excellent location with amazing service. Could have stayed here for a whole week with the castle views!

Nice views of the sea and bordered by fruit trees. Nice mix of Japanese and modern/Scandinavian design. Highly recommend, especially if traveling as a couple.

Beautiful location by the bay. The sauna and baths were amazing. Excellent place to stay while riding the Shimanami Kaido.

祇園鞆家 貸切の御宿 大人数宿泊オススメ& 連泊weeklyぶちお得 ligger i Tomo i Hiroshima, med kort vei til Tomonotsu Museum og Tomonoura Museum of History and Folklore. Location was great. Accommodation very comfortable. The hosts were excellent - very accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and loved interacting with the hosts.

Small ryokan but BIG on warm hospitality from arrival till check out. When we couldn’t find any eating places open, we asked at last minute if we could still get dinner from them. Not only did they acceded to our request, they whipped up a very sumptuous meal within a short time. The meal was so value for money
