The kids enjoyed playing with the toys 🧸 and to jump on the small trampoline outside.

Mount Asama was majestic, and the sunrises and sunsets were stunningly beautiful. At night, the lighting was fantastic, especially the area lit up to resemble dandelions near the Sky Spa. Cuisine: The staff were very professional, so the meals were ready while we were chatting. The complimentary drinks were all delicious, and the quality of the meat and vegetables was top-notch. The ravioli and sausages for breakfast were also exquisite. Lounge: We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the interior and the art displayed. The books and photographs provided great conversation starters, and the alcohol flowed, making for a delightful time. Sky Spa: The atmosphere of the open-air jacuzzi was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the view.

I Nakanojo, bare 49 kilometer fra Naeba skisenter og 36 kilometer fra Ishidan-gai Steps ligger Shima-Onsen Toshimaya. This was a tastefully designed, classy yet friendly ryokan. My room was Japanese traditional with tatami floors. Every item in it was beautifully designed. My own private hinoki bath on the balcony had a breathtaking view of the hillside and stream below, and the entire time I enjoyed the sound of the water flowing. The food was very good, they served a beautiful kaiseki meal that went on forever (it seemed). At the cafe, they served their house blend coffee called Mori-no-coffee which I enjoyed while sitting in one of their comfy chairs with an art book on my lap. The staff was courteous and nice too, it was truly a perfect day.

Ikaho Syusuien har en beleilig beliggenhet i Ikaho Onsen i Shibukawa, 46 kilometer fra Usui jernbanemuseum, 9 minutters gange fra Ishidan-gai Steps og 400 meter fra Ikaho Ropeway. Great view on the mountains from my room. Close to the stone steps of Ikaho. I also enjoyed the onsen, the one in the evening and the other in the morning.

Located within a 5-minute walk from JR Takasaki Train Station, Hotel 1-2-3 Takasaki offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Accidentially booked a smoking room. It was not a problem to change to a non-smoking room at the woman only floor. The floor was very woman friendly with free woman products (hairband, eye mask, comb etc) and a extensive assortment of badproducts. Breakfast was oriental style. There were free drinks on the second floor, but also vending machines.
