16 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area in Hakuba, 白馬の黒馬 DarkHorse @Hakuba offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and spa facilities. Fantastic hosts, so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They literally drove us to the slopes every day and picked us up. They even drove us to Nagano to catch the train back to Tokyo at the end of our stay. The accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is super modern. To get the best from this property, get stuck in and meet the other guests, it's such a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Noise levels drop by 10pm to ensure a peaceful night sleep and the breakfast/ food it's awesome. Thanks for the fabulous welcome to all the staff at Dark Horse.

Situated in Hakuba in the Nagano region, with Happo-One Ski Resort and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal nearby, Pension Belnina features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as... Belnina had a very nice family feel. Taka, Seiko and their friend Danny made our stay fantastic. Taka was very helpful with resort information and went beyond by picking us up and dropping us to the station. Seiko and Danny did a great job with breakfast, especially with the homemade baking. The drying room was great and the onsen was a great addition after a day on the slopes. We will definitely be back!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Close to the main road, amazingly friendly staffs, good size room with bath. Fridge, washing machine, ensuite bath, big kitchen space were available. We had 4 single beds in our room and was big enough for all 4 of us. The bed was comfortable too. The onsen in the shared area was also nice. You had to make reservations in advance to secure a 45min slot. One was only inside but the other had both inside and outside baths.

A very short walk to the ski lifts. Close to the main entry/exit point and plenty of ski hire options to choose from. The owners/operators are friendly and really helpful. Accommodation is comfortable, traditional Japanese style, room was well heated for the winter. The whole place was well maintained, clean and well suited to our needs. Took the daily breakfast option and this was fine, Japanese breakfast choice changed daily and only started to repeat because we were there for so long. We will re-book if we can next time we are in the area. Really happy. Thanks

Our stay at Il Bosco was comfortable and pleasant! Kiko was a lovely host - he was friendly and accommodating, and offered numerous suggestions to all our queries and questions. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the common areas were cosy and had everything we needed!

Located in Hakuba in the Nagano region, たかね荘 provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. Three of us stayed here for 5 days. We had the best time! The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with great facilities, including a storage area for all of our ski and snowboard gear. There’s also a bus station right down the street that takes you to Iwatake (which you can then transfer to another bus that takes you to every resort.) The best part were the owners — they were so kind and welcoming even though we did not speak Japanese. They cooked us breakfast and dinner and both were so delicious. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay😁

A recently renovated chalet situated in Hakuba, Hakuba Riverside Loghouse features a garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Lovely and cosy lodge close to the action in Hakuba. All details were perfect. Loved the touch of the illustrated postcards left as a gift for each of our guests!
