Sitting in the onsen whilst it snowed outside will be a memory for life. The concierge team were so helpful organizing restaurant bookings, ski lessons, hire cars and shifting our ski gear around Japan.

The hospitality there is unmatched, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were hosted well and taken care of. They picked us up and dropped us off at the station, and let us stay and use the amenities after the check out time. The breakfast was amazing and two courses, and cheffed up for each guest. It’s also located in a great area and very close to the ski hills with a shuttle! They are also very well connected with the ski resorts and rental places in the area and offer better rates. Above all else, Nao’s hospitality made our stay amazing.

The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

Long to go back in the winter to see Il Bosco buried in snow. The wonderful owners, Naomi and Koki, could not be more hospitable. So helpful and kind. Freshly baked bread at breakfast and great pasta for dinner. I feel very nostalgic about my stay.

Beautiful place with all we needed, well equipped, it was warm, comfortable and the beds amazing. Just out of town, peaceful and quiet and with the car able to access the slopes and town easily. The owners were responsive and really helpful.
