We highly recommend this place, especially because the host goes above and beyond. He helps with transport and other practicalities and has a great movie selection when you are tired after your hike along the gorge. Bettei Fujiya features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 26 km of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 26 km of Atomic Bomb Dome. We had an incredible stay! This location is a bit outside of Hiroshima, but very easy to get to by cab or train. The facilities were beautiful, and our room was comfortable with very thoughtful amenities and a beautiful private onsen. The main lobby has bountiful snacks and an incredible sake selection, as well as tons of other beverages that we could help ourselves to as we pleased. Both of our meals were so delicious, much more food than we were able to eat, and our whole party got to share a private dining room with an open hearth. This was truly a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to book here and make the trip!
