The house was beautiful and quiet, the view was amazing!!! Everything looked brand new and there was nothing not available. We especially recommend renting bikes with Tabitasu Tours and having them delivered to the house 😍 With bikes the options for the day are endless. And afterwards we enjoyed the bathtub and amazing sofa's in front of the panoramic windows in the living room! The bedding ........the bedding was SO SOFT!!! The pillows where perfect and the airconditioning was a nice touch. We also loved all the beautiful furniture that was clearly placed there with a purpose. The tea provided was a great hit with us and the communication with the owner was very nice as well 🙂‍↕️. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Stunning house with an incredible view on the sea and far away islands. The house was very comfortable, the living room is very nice to stay in with a comfortable couch, dining table and a beautiful view. We also loved the onsen style bathroom very much, taking a bath with this view was extraordinary. You feel like you are outside in nature. The kitchen was also very useful, because we were unsure of our eating options on the island, we brought food from Onomichi and then cooked. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The host provided very useful things all over the appartment, thank you for that! The sauna outside is also very nice. There is an AC which was useful, as it was still hot when we were there. There is light coming into the bedroom but we had eyemasks so that was ok for us. We also loved the e-bikes, which we used to take a trip around the entire island, which was stunning. There aren't many tourists on the island, so it felt very special and calm. We didn't have a car and so we walked 12 mins to the house, which is an easy walk, just the last part up is a little more intense, but it's quite short. The host was also very helpful with questions we had.

We highly recommend this place, especially because the host goes above and beyond. He helps with transport and other practicalities and has a great movie selection when you are tired after your hike along the gorge. The place is clean and cozy and there is a very nice bath room with a big tub for relaxing.

The room was very clean, spacious by Japanese standards, and offered serene traditional atmosphere blended seamlessly with modern conforms. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.
