The view was breathtaking. We had a great time with the bbq and pizza oven and making a bonfire at night. It was truly amazing! We were welcome really friendly and even got some marshmallows for the bonfire for free. The place is on a hill but definitely worth the ride up!

The facility was lovely, peaceful, calm and very clean. The baths felt wonderful after a day of cycling. Although there was no restaurant onsite we were able to find food within a five minute walk for both dinner and breakfast.

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional. We enjoyed every moment—from the staff, the ambiance, the room, and the place as a whole. A special mention goes to the dinner we had at the hotel, prepared by Chef Kenya Akita, who undoubtedly deserves three Michelin stars. Chef Akita, a Japanese culinary artist, trained for 13 years in France at a Michelin-starred restaurant before returning to Japan to adapt his extensive culinary expertise to the local cuisine. Every dish was outstanding, both in terms of flavors and aesthetic presentation. The meal was simply extraordinary. Don’t miss it!

Stunning house with an incredible view on the sea and far away islands. The house was very comfortable, the living room is very nice to stay in with a comfortable couch, dining table and a beautiful view. We also loved the onsen style bathroom very much, taking a bath with this view was extraordinary. You feel like you are outside in nature. The kitchen was also very useful, because we were unsure of our eating options on the island, we brought food from Onomichi and then cooked. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The host provided very useful things all over the appartment, thank you for that! The sauna outside is also very nice. There is an AC which was useful, as it was still hot when we were there. There is light coming into the bedroom but we had eyemasks so that was ok for us. We also loved the e-bikes, which we used to take a trip around the entire island, which was stunning. There aren't many tourists on the island, so it felt very special and calm. We didn't have a car and so we walked 12 mins to the house, which is an easy walk, just the last part up is a little more intense, but it's quite short. The host was also very helpful with questions we had.

It was such a lovely stay, the host was amazing. She welcomed us and helped us make a dinner reservation as well. The apartment is spacious and clean and has everything that's needed. Location is perfect and it also has a parking spot next to the house. Recommending everyone to stay here
