The house is beautiful and comfortable with many practical details that are well thought through and made our stay extremely smooth and enjoyable. The location is perfect to explore the island, in a quiet village but not completely isolated. The instructions and many recommendations were highly appreciated. Would have happily stayed longer!

The staff were also very helpful and friendly; we got there after sunset and had trouble finding the place in the dark (please make plans to reach before it gets dark!), but the staff were keeping a lookout for us in the cold at the main gate. Appreciate the hospitality and effort to communicate with us even though we did not understand Japanese. The food was also exceptional! Best kaiseki we’ve had! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

They took me to the airport and dropped me off at the bus station when I needed to use the bus. It was my birthday and they got me a cake and played/sang with the saxophone! The view from the deck is incredible, and you can see the sunrise in the morning, stars at night. The weather on the south side of the island is so much warmer than the north, too. Glad I stayed in the southern part. Keisuke makes incredible breakfasts. Splurge on one of their dinners. This place is best for couples with a car cuz of the room size and the location.

Upstairs had spacious Japanese style tatami room and relaxing. The view from the window was a beautiful countryside and meditating. The kitchen had a big fridge and there were water and ice, cooking oil and sauces etc are free to use. The seasonal island passion fruits were so sweet, the owner J was so friendly and helpful, we had a great stay there.

The house has a pleasant, traditional feel and it is very spacious. The kitchen is big and it was easy to prepare meals every day. The host was very nice and whenever we had any questions she promptly responded. The garden, as small as it is, is well taken care of and we could actually pick some ripe kumquats from the tree. The location is practical for exploring northern part of the island. It was a marvellous holiday.
