Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

Hakone Suimeiso is located a 3-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station and a 15-minute walk from Sounji Temple. It offers public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access. The location was practical (as they state on their website), but a bit far from the main attractions (hakone loop, open-air museum, ect.). Therefore, unless you have the hakone free pass, you will have to take the buses which charge by distance travelled. It can end up being costly so make sure to recharge your IC cards. The room was very beautiful and clean and our open-bath was large enough for 2 adults to fit in. They were very swift and punctual with the bed making and breakfast service. The miso soup served with breakfast was clam based and one of the most delicious miso soups I have had in my life.

Close to Lake Ashi and Hakone-machi-ko bus and Hakone Sightseeing Cruise ‘Pirate ship’ stop. Hot spring flowing through house via an always full, warm bathtub. So nice. Sleeping on Tatami mats/futons or double bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine (but no dryer). We were made to feel welcome when arriving in the evening in November by a warm, lit-up house, so thoughtful.

Great stay! Loved the design of our room and having 2 separate beds allowed us to rest and recharge. Sadly we had only 1 onsen on the balcony, so we took turns with my husband. There was a cd player with several Jazz collections. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff made sure to explain the menu and answer all the questions we had. Most of the time they’d use the portable translators. Hot springs/ spa area was rotated every morning, so we got to experience both bath areas. My favorite treat was the vinegar drink after the baths.

Everything The staff is very welcoming Breakfast is superb ( seems the variation went back to before covid ) real 4-5 start level breakfast Very clean Spacious Luxury feeling

Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of mountain, YUPOPPO Hakone is situated in Hakone, 43 km from Fuji-Q Highland. the host was vey nice and friendly ,traditional ryokan but very well equipped great traditional food excellent private onsen

Located in Kawasaki, 5.3 km from Omori Hachiman Shrine, SAKE Kura Hotel 川崎宿 provides air-conditioned rooms and a bar. Staffs were very nice, the location was comfy as well. The room has no windows but it was very nice to rest and sleep. Wish that the breakfast has more options but all in all everything was good.

WeBase Kamakura is a resort hotel and restaurant in the ancient capital of Kamakura, one minute from the Shonan sea and one hour from the city. Everything. KAMAKURA was a great location and such a lovely vibe, away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The property was beautiful and the room was very well equipped. The breakfast, was probably the best we have ever had. Amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Set in Hakone’s natural beauty, Gora Kadan is located a 5-minute walk from Gora Station on the Hakone Tozan Line. Guests can leisurely soak in the hot spring bath, relax with a massage treatment. Todella ystävällinen henkilökunta. Ruoat olivat erinomaisia ja huone viihtyisä.
