Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Loved the room & overall hotel facilities. I have lost my backpack; left it on the bus from hakone-yumoto stn to tenyu stn. The staff was very kind and helped me find the backpack by contacting the bus company. I appreciated it so much. Also 2 public bath were amazing!!! Would love to go back!

I Hakone, 12 kilometer fra Hakone-Yumoto stasjon, ligger YUPOPPO Hakone, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en restaurant. Owner is really nice and the breakfast was delicious! Especially the bread. The onsen was really nice too. The location is good because there is a bus stop nearby that you can use to get to lake ashi and buses are very frequent.

Ideally located in Yokohama, The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama, open from September 2020, offers lavishly-decorated air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The room and view was spectacular. Truly 5 star. The gym was very well equipped and open 24 hours…even Chris Bumsted (Mr Olympia) would have been happy. The spa facilities were excellent.
