Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Everything is awesome. Great view, well maintained property, beautiful landscape and garden, wide selection for dinner and breakfast, food is top notch and generous. Staff are well trained and professional.

Situated in Hakone, 14 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station and 37 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, NEW OPEN『天然温泉』芦ノ湖畔の完全貸切別荘 offers a garden and air conditioning. The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a balcony, 一棟貸しの宿 貸別荘 水戸ハウス Vacation Rental Mito House! We loved everything about this house. It's four bedroom house with very comfortable futons on the tatami, a very nice kitchen and bathroom. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Kaisei department store and about a 20 minute walk to Mito Station. It has free parking for a rental car, too.

Set in Nikko, COZY Inn Free Shuttle service is a recently renovated accommodation, 12 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 14 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. A traditional home situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes away from train station. There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.

Set in Tokyo and with Moyai Statue reachable within 500 metres, Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a bar. The rooms were very roomy. They had all the amenities in the room, like a washer dryer, a big refrigerator, huge shower, and the beds were comfortable. The location was the best part. Below was the JR station, and shopping, food, and it is at the quieter side of Shibuya. I will definitely stay here again.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Tokyo, TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK provides air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and an outdoor swimming pool. The staff was super friendly and professional. So kind and gracious. My stay was truly a pleasure.
