The incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful staff made our stay flawless. The bed was incredibly comfortable, our expansive city views (Prestige corner room) were stunning - Tokyo Tower was so close and beautiful at night when it was lit up, the bathroom with its deep soaking tub and shower (rainfall, wand, and massaging jets) was loaded with amenities and toiletries. The pajamas and robe were soft and super comfortable. Service was attentive and gracious. We loved the breakfast buffet at Orchid - an extensive spread with both Japanese and Western offerings, delicious pastries, a station for made-to-order eggs, a nice balance of savory and sweet. There’s even a Lawson on street level of the building.

O Hakone Suimeisou está localizado a 3 minutos a pé da estação Hakone-Yumoto e a 15 minutos a pé do Templo Sounji. The staff were just wonderful. Beautiful experience in a traditional ryokan with delicious food and a lovely setting. The public and private onsens were beautiful! Great spot for exploring Hakone and the surrounding region.

The place was neat, perfectly designed, well equipped, a lot of space. The bed was super comfortable! The staff were so nice and helped us with all our special requests with kindness and attentiveness.

Close to Lake Ashi and Hakone-machi-ko bus and Hakone Sightseeing Cruise ‘Pirate ship’ stop. Hot spring flowing through house via an always full, warm bathtub. So nice. Sleeping on Tatami mats/futons or double bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine (but no dryer). We were made to feel welcome when arriving in the evening in November by a warm, lit-up house, so thoughtful.

We didn't use it, but there was a bike available, e.g. for shopping at the nearby supermarket. There are instructions for the appliances in English. The rooms were very nice and clean.

COZY Inn Free Shuttle service oferece acomodação com jardim, estacionamento privativo grátis e lounge compartilhado em Nikko. Estação de trem de Nikko fica a 11 km de distância. Hiro-san was an excellent host! He was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and gave us great local advice. Marie-san, his assistant, was also a treat! The room he offered us was clean and comfortable, his house is very charming. There is access to snacks, coffee, and cooking facilities. He is also located right off a historic walkway in a quiet neighborhood. We would love to stay again, thank you for hosting us, Hiro-san!
