Located in Kyoto and with Kyoto Station reachable within less than 1 km, Dusit Thani Kyoto provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a bar. Most of all, services of the hotel is superb. I had been there during Cherry blossom season, the hotel provided Cherry blossom news of the blooming everyday. Concierge team of the hotel was very attentive, they recommended and booked many good places to eat for us. Breakfast is very good with many choices in both buffet and a la carte menu, including some Thai food. I had dinner at Koyo, teppanyagi restaurant at the hotel, it was also very good cooking and reasonable price.

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. We stayed there for one night while trekking the Kumano Kodo. Basically, everything was perfect for a one night stay after a long day of hiking. The capsules were spacious and quite private actually. The bento box provided for dinner was tasty. There are three private onsens that you can book. Yunomine Onsen itself is very lovely and you can easily continue your trek either on foot or by bus, as the bus stop is very close. Would definitely stay there again!

Set within 100 metres of Matsunomiya Shrine and less than 1 km of Tsurumibashi Shopping Street in Osaka, 大阪历史文化街区日式酒店 体验纯正和风生活 机场地铁直达 offers accommodation with seating area and a kitchen. We were looking for a place in Osaka, that would be our base for couple of days during our trip. As there weren't a lot of options close to the center, we decided to take a place that has good transport. So, we found this new place in Booking.com and we decided to give it a try. During the time before our trip we were looking at the comments to see that it is not a trap or something different. The hotel is closed to two metro stations with a line directly from Osaka main station and one line that has a direct line to the airport. We arrived to the place and we met with the owner. The contact was little hard, but we were able to understand each other. He infomed us that the breakfast is available on the cafe beside his hotel and gave us voucher. Also via message he informed me that for one day, he will arrange us breakfast as the cafe is closed. He showed us the room and help my friend with her luggage. The room was big as it had two big double beds, a small toilet, AC and for tv there was a projector which is a good idea. The kitchen was in the common room and had all the necesities for the stay.

Situated conveniently in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, 祇園四条ホテル is set 100 metres from Gion Shijo Station, 800 metres from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and 1.7 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference... Bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent. Even though it was on a busy corner, the room was very quiet and soundproofed. One of the best hotels we have stayed at during our trip in Japan!

The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.
