Hotel Emion Kyoto ligger beleilig til i sentrum av Kyoto og tilbyr har bufféfrokost og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Vi var to voksne og to barn som bodde på familierom i to netter. Det var god plass på rommet og fint bad. Og særlig gratis inngang på hotellets onsen var helt fantastisk! Kort vei fra jernbanestasjonen var veldig praktisk, sånn at vi kunne gå til og fra togstasjonen med kofferter. Stille og rolig. Kort vei til fiskemarkedet om man vil stå opp tidlig å få med seg auksjonen.

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. Praktisk sted å stoppe om man er på pilgrimsvandring på Kumano Kodo. Stedet ligger i en artig, liten by med varme kilder. Stedet er som et vandrehjem, med praktisk opplegg på kjøkken og hyggelig oppholdsrom. Stille, ryddig og ordentlig.

Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei ligger en 10-minutters spasertur fra livlige Kawaramachi. Her tilbys du en turistinformasjon og bar i 1. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a pretty good location with lots of restaurants nearby. 10-12 mins walk from bus stop or train station which is reasonable. Shower was good and futon bed comfortable. There's a lounge area where you can have food and chat.

Situated along the Okawa River renowned for beautiful cherry blossoms, Imperial Hotel Osaka is a prestigious 5-star hotel with elegant guest rooms, a fitness centre and various fine dining options. Great hotel by the river and short distance from Umeda. Free hotel shuttle to the station and back.

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in er et 1000 år gammelt buddhistisk tempel, og tilbyr gratis Wi-Fi, en vakker hage og rom i japansk stil. The temple and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was the nicest I've had on this trip - comfortable and beautiful. The temple is cold but the heaters in the bedrooms made it very comfortable. The meals were delicious - again some of my best on my entire trip. They were very generous in sharing information about their religion and culture, and inviting tourists to participate in activities that helped us to better understand the life and routine at Ekoin. I appreciated the booklet in the room that explained how to navigate different things (e.g. the meditation, the morning service) so that I better understood. It was a special experience and was grateful for the opportunity to visit here.

祇園四条ホテル har en attraktiv beliggenhet i Higashiyama-distriktet i Kyoto, 9 minutters gange fra Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1,7 kilometer fra Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall og 15 minutters gange fra... Bed was very comfortable and the location was excellent. Even though it was on a busy corner, the room was very quiet and soundproofed. One of the best hotels we have stayed at during our trip in Japan!

I Osaka, 6 minutters gange fra Tamatsukuri Catholic Church, ligger Patina Osaka, som har en hage, privat parkering, en terrasse og en bar. Stunning hotel with beautiful Japanese inspired architecture. Incredible view overlooking Osaka castle and gardens. Generously large comfortable beautiful rooms. Best hotel pool and fitness centre I've ever used. Buffet breakfast was delicious.

The beautiful decor, authentic experience with the irori bbq made in front of you was incredible. Everything was delicious, with strong attention to detail giving you a humble luxury that feels typically Japanese. The room was simply gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable. The complementary items (late night soba, stocked fridge) made it even more special and intentional.
