I Nagano, bare 15 minutters gange fra Zenkoji-tempelet og 2,4 kilometer fra Nagano stasjon ligger SAUNA VILLA 然. The place is very clean and equips with everything you need for a night stay. They even have free drinks in the fridge including beers for guest. Room size is good as well. Quiet neighbourhood near the temple. I would stay there again if I return to Nagano.

Had a dryer which helped because it was raining. Full kitchen and living room and dining room. Large bath with a shower. Also the host was really nice!

Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group har et boblebad og boenheter med klimaanlegg og gratis WiFi, og ligger i Hakuba, 12 kilometer fra Skiområdet Tsugaike Kogen. The property was so special - its location amongst the forest trees covered in snow, the design of the property and its amenities were all amazing. Sitting in the onsen whilst it snowed outside will be a memory for life. The concierge team were so helpful organizing restaurant bookings, ski lessons, hire cars and shifting our ski gear around Japan.

I Nagiso, 8,4 kilometer fra Kotoku-ji Temple, ligger Hostel Yui-an, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. I loved everything. The dinner, the good priced breakfast, the location, the views, the attention for detail in decoration, and above all the kind staff!

Pension Kaoru ligger i Kiso i Nagano, og tilbyr overnatting med tilgang til gratis WiFi og gratis privat parkering i tillegg til et boblebad. The hosts was super friendly and did everything for us to have a great stay. The place is very clean and beautiful. The food was amazing.

Tsutaya Tokinoyado Kazari tilbyr en hage, terrasse, en bar og skiløyper rett utenfor døren i Kiso. Stunning fit out . Rooms and private onsen superb . Staff fantastic. Food unreal. 100/10 at least!

Eternal Flame features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available on site. The main street of Hakuba Echoland is a 6-minute walk away, and features many restaurants/bars. Nao and his family are the best hosts you can imagine. They go high and low for you without asking. It felt warm and welcome, and nothing was too much. We stayed in the new cabins, which had everything we needed. It was new, clean, luxurious, and had the best hosts. They made great breakfasts early in the morning. I would recommend the cabin to anyone out there! The best place in Japan.

Pension Belnina ligger i Hakuba i Nagano, med kort vei til Happo One skisenter og Hakuba Happo bussterminal. Very lovely cozy house, and very friendly helpful owner!

I Yamanouchi, bare 4,1 kilometer fra Jigokudani apepark og 10 kilometer fra Ryuoo skianlegg ligger Yorozuya. The ryokan is very well organized, everyone is focused on providing a superior customer experience. I selected Yorozuya because of its beautiful onsen but I came away with outstanding memories of the kind and helful staff, the amazing breakfast and dinner experience.

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.
