This is an excellent Ryokan, not too far from Nara and on the way to Yoshino. The hosts are extremely friendly and will provide you, if you wish, with a Japanese dinner (seafood based) and either a Japanese or Western breakfast - both incur an additional cost. You can also self cater. The place caters for just one set of guests at a time. You have a main room with a table, piano, TV and WiFi, and a room for sleeping in. You leave these rooms to go to the toilet and kitchen area. Shower and bath is around the other side of the building. The house is quite old and is therefore cold overall, however, within your rooms there heaters which keep it very cosy and there are heating mats for the beds. Book here to enjoy a stay in a traditional Japanese house! You can also request a pickup from the train station.

It was a beautiful experience. The Japanese style breakfast was a first for me and it was different both days, so good! The room itself was so peaceful and i loved being able to control so many different lights to give it a different atmosphere. The onsen was a great addition that I looked forward to relaxing in every night after I got back from a long day!

Staff was very accommodating. Very spacious, perfect for our group. We had to change the group size due to a mistake of our own and it was very easy to resolve, thank you for that. We had a great time!
