The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

The homely hospitality by the sincere owner & his mother truly touch our heart! the house is big enough for us & complete with all the ameneties needed. Aunty served us rice balls every morning using the rice they grown themselves & it's yummms! my kids love the oldschool game set prepared for us. Fujiwara san is truly a person who serves wholeheartedly with personal touch. He is thoughtful & love our kids by preparing all the goodies & snacks at times. we love the hanabi(fireworks) prepared & had a good time! i've been visiting Japan more than 15times in 10yrs, but this is the place that i miss most with their homely hospitality & it's so healing. i got teary eyed when i visited the small shrine (the shrine in the Pokemon game) behind the owner's house once i checked out because i felt so blessed to meet with this family. A must stay if u wanna TRUE Japanese touch stay. We love the burger shop & local Japanese eatery recommended by Fujiwara san. it's very easy to drive around Lake Biwa, we love the ski resort recommended by Fujuwara san so much! it's fun & pretty with colorful flowers & cooling up there in Summer! U can even have a day trip from here to places in Northern Kyoto prefecture such as Ine, Amanohashidate, Miyama etc. You wil never regret staying here! I'll definitely stay here again if i'm visiting Kyoto in future! i cant say enough of the good thing about this stay, u must stay to believe me... Arigato Fujiwara san.
