Offering quiet street views, COZY Inn Free Shuttle service is an accommodation set in Nikko, 12 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 14 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Hiro was freindly, communicative and helpful and his house is well set up for guests. We were there in winter. It would be lovely to stay in Spring or Summer and see the garden.

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. We had a lovely room with a view of the river and cozy futons. The onsen were excellent, especially the private ones, and we enjoyed the Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We really loved our stay and would definitely like to come again.

The best part is climbing net and loft upstairs - my kids very super excited and spent their all free time. Spacious clean and warm rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, with all necessary appliances in the kitchen. The house is suitable for short and long stay any season, as there are heaters and air-conditioning system.

Grate experience in Nikko if you are looking for a bit of a remote area. Beautiful and quiet environment. The Onsen in the hotel is amazing, especially the private one! The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.
