Offering quiet street views, COZY Inn Free Shuttle service is an accommodation set in Nikko, 12 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 14 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. The host is very welcoming. It's a pleasure to talk to him, ask him about your plans or ask him to book a restaurant or call remote onsen. He recommended us the best restaurant for dinner we have ever had in Japan. It's just a 10-minute walk. What a treat. The room is in an older house, which is the traditional Japanese house. You share a bathroom and toilet with other guests (max 4 people share this, so that is fine). The room is great, spacious, and the air conditioning works superb. We came by car, but the host is willing to pick you up and drive you to your next destination. The host speaks English very well. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Located in Nikko, 800 metres from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko Nishimachi Club provides accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. Location is perfect to explore the temples and to be in a more quiet area, still with shops very near. The staff is so amazing and kind. The rooms are neat and very spacious. The onsen on every floor is a treat with good amenities. This a hotel that I totally stay again!

The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. We had the most wonderful time at the hotel! Staff were very professional and welcoming, breakfast was outstanding, the whole stay very relaxing! Onsent was incredible. The hotel is located by beautiful lake, great for walks and long runs!

Featuring garden views, Morino Garden Mashiko provides accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge, around 46 km from Mito Station. Wonderful stay host was so kind picking us up and taking us to local museum.Breakfast was large and delicious.Great night's sleep on really comfortable beds or you can choose a traditional Japanese guest room.We had a few sleepless nights in Tokyo so didn't try.Mashiko is a perfect location for pottery enthusiasts.There was so much to see.

The staff are friendly and offer impeccable service.

A recently renovated apartment situated in Nikko, Nikko Retreat features a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 700 metres from Nikko Station. The best part is climbing net and loft upstairs - my kids very super excited and spent their all free time. Spacious clean and warm rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, with all necessary appliances in the kitchen. The house is suitable for short and long stay any season, as there are heaters and air-conditioning system.

Grate experience in Nikko if you are looking for a bit of a remote area. Beautiful and quiet environment. The Onsen in the hotel is amazing, especially the private one! The food was exceptional, such an experience really recommended to book the dinner plan. Very not touristic in the best way, hart to find in Japan.
