Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Everything is crazily awesome!! We booked a higher-floor lake-view room. It's on 6 floors. The room is really big since it's not my first time staying at this kind of traditional Japanese onsen Ryokan. 1. The check-in male staff is really professional and his English is one of the best during my stay in Japan. 2. The lady who was responsible for our room Yuki, was really helpful and completed every her mission perfectly from welcome tea to set up and serving our whole traditional Japanese dinner. 3. The rooftop is the best reason to stay here. You can see the whole of Fuji Mountain here. The day we checked in was clear but with some cloud on the tip of the mt. But on the day we checked out was really clear. 4. The shared onsen on the fourth floor is also awesome. There are all kinds of onsen and saunas. Even better with an outdoor one! I didn't go in the daytime but if you stay here please try it. 5. The shuttle bus is really helpful since most of our trains are after 3 pm. You can also use it when you checkout first, leave your bags here explore around and come back to take the shuttle bus back to the train station.

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Amazing staff. Top notch service.

Manor House features a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Yamanakako, 21 km from Fuji-Q Highland. Lovely host, rented bicycles free of charge which made it easy to explore the local area. Amazing views of Fuji. Room seemed newly upgraded and was lovely. The private Onsens were great.

Set in Kofu, 37 km from Lake Kawaguchi, wanderlust STAY offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Spacious, bright and clean apartment. Nice bathroom with separated toilet. Glimpse of Mt Fuji from the 1st floor apartment window. We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

Located just 16 km from Fuji-Q Highland, SORAYADO 宙宿 features accommodation in Tsuru with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. A hot tub is available for guests. Clean room, nice staff, and a small shared area that has a fridge and microwave

Boasting mountain views, Glamping Cottage Kawaguchiko features accommodation with balcony, around 2.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. This was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed in Japan. It had gorgeous views of Fuji. The house was very large and easily fit our family of five. It had plenty of amenities (including a spa bath which we appreciated after many days of walking around). Would highly recommend.
