Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We ordered the traditional dinner menu in our room, staff went above and beyond to make sure we knew what we were doing (cook partly yourself), we also used the private onsen which was amazing with the view of fuji for a brief second through the clouds.

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Absolutely breathtaking hotel, with a gorgeous view on Mt Fuji from your bed. The bathroom was big and confortable, and it had many amenities to use. Even the lobby was nice and could be used to sit down and relax whilst having a drink. The free e-bike rental was a major plus as it allows you to travel around the lakes all day. The shuttle service is a must as the hotel is located on a steep hill

Manor House features a hot spring bath and a hot tub, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Yamanakako, 21 km from Fuji-Q Highland. Lovely host, rented bicycles free of charge which made it easy to explore the local area. Amazing views of Fuji. Room seemed newly upgraded and was lovely. The private Onsens were great.

All facilities have been carefully thought out to maximise comfort. Great peaceful location and very comfortable. Tents are much larger than how it appears in photos which was a pleasant surprise upon arrival

Located just 16 km from Fuji-Q Highland, SORAYADO 宙宿 features accommodation in Tsuru with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a shared kitchen. A hot tub is available for guests. My stay in Sorayado was the best in my life. The house nestled within a mountainous area is big and beautiful, and the room is exceptionally comfortable. I felt at home for all three weeks I stayed there. The room has everything you might need; everything is thought out to the very smallest detail. You can rent a bike for free; the common area has coffee machines. The host, Sudzuki-san, is kind, hardworking, very helpful, and always goes the extra mile to accommodate any of your requests. My stay was completely seamless, and all my needs were met. There is a supermarket near the hotel with a variety of cooked food, coffee, snacks, drinks, and everything else you might need during your hotel stay. Tsuru is beautiful and has many great, affordable restaurants. I highly recommend Sorayado for a quiet stay in the Japanese mountains with easy access to Tokyo's JR line.

Boasting mountain views, Glamping Cottage Kawaguchiko features accommodation with balcony, around 2.3 km from Lake Kawaguchi. This was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed in Japan. It had gorgeous views of Fuji. The house was very large and easily fit our family of five. It had plenty of amenities (including a spa bath which we appreciated after many days of walking around). Would highly recommend.
