The hosts are very friendly and hospitable people, if necessary, they will help organize trips to local attractions: the house is located close to Sigeriya, Dambulla, Minneriya National Park. I would also like to note the restaurant on the territory - they cook delicious food and it is very cozy. We are glad that we chose this place in Habarana.

Even after our stay, they stayed in touch to ensure we safely reached our next destination, which was a thoughtful touch. I have no hesitation in recommending this place—it’s a must-visit. The bedroom was incredibly relaxing, and the pool was perfect, especially given the hot weather in Anuradhapura. The property is spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail in its design is evident, making it an excellent choice for guests. They even took the time to ask what could be improved for future stays, showing their commitment to constant improvement. Mr. Udaya is a truly humble and gracious host.

If you stay a week or more a kitchen can be used. Every day around 18.00 hours you can see elephants quite nearby at one of the thee lakes. 2 or 3 or 6. Very exiting. They come to drink water. However keep distance. We really loved our staying at Village Garden Inn

Surrounded by ancient ruins and temples, Gamodh Citadel Resort offers you comfort with cosy accommodation by the garden or the pool. It houses an outdoor swimming pool and a library. Staff were so helpful and considerate ,both the manager and the guy who served us at restaurant. They even managed to prepare us breakfast the days that we had to leave before breakfast time. Tours they offer also have the best price. Swimming pool was very beautiful and large. Breakfast is great especially oat pancakes with coconut filling

Amazing view from the hotel room. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The personnel was super friendly and helpful. We included a Sri Lankan breakfast, which was delicious (expect big portions 😄).
