Located in Tangalle, 200 metres from Tangalle Beach, Chaya Beach Hotel, Tangalle features views of the garden. The best stay we had in Sri Lanka so far , the owner was super nice he did everything he could for us and more . The room was very clean and shower had hot water. He prepared the best breakfast for us in the morning and arranged the transport for our next destination. Highly recommend

The beachside is simply stunning, offering peace and quiet throughout the stay. The food was excellent, the swimming pool was refreshing, and the cleanliness of the property was flawless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service — the staff went above and beyond, making the stay feel warm and personalized.

Exceptional place with exceptional staff! This was a fantastic find and we enjoyed every moment of it. The food was delicious (but far too much!) and the staff (particularly Silwa) were so accommodating and really looked after us. We loved the evening nature stroll. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Awesome place overlooking a very broad and calm beach. Beautiful garden and big spacious rooms with air conditioning. We liked everything about our stay: location, breakfasts and tips from the owner about what to do in the neighborhood. You can go bird watching, go chill and swim in a reef- protected Harmony Beach. Overall amazing!

Beautiful property with two pools overlooking the sea! The rooms were gorgeous and the staff in the restaurant were lovely. All the food there was great too. A little out of Tangelle but perfect for a very peaceful few days.

Boasting a private beach area and views of sea, The Waves Beach Chalets is a recently renovated guest house situated in Tangalle, a few steps from Tangalle Beach. This is our first trip to Sri Lanka, and the first few days in Colombo were so tiring for us. But finally, we arrived at The Waves Beach Chalets, and it was our paradise, we could see birds and monkeys from our terrace. It was amazing. The host and his boys were super helpful, kind, and honest. He cares and helps us with everything. I felt so warm and touched. The service is beyond our expectations. The place is so clean and feel like we have our own beach which we can walk and see turtle next door. There are a few restaurants where we can walk from the property to have lunch or dinner. For breakfast will be served at a nice place where we can see the beach, it was super nice. Or if you would like to go somewhere else, the host also can help to arrange tuk-tuk with a reasonable price. We highly recommend this place in case you would like to come to Tangalle. The place is perfect.

Set in large grounds bordered by wetlands, Eagles Nest Cabanas offers rooms with a terrace. A 3-minute walk from the beach, the property has its own restaurant. The location is super peaceful and quiet, lots of animals right by the lagoon. 7 mins away from the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I got stung by a jelly fish and got offered Aloe Vera right away which really helped me a lot. The breakfast and food in general is homemade and super super tasty. The coffee was also pretty good. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a super quiet and peaceful timeout to just relax and enjoy being surrounded by all kinds of peaceful animals.
