The room and facilities were of a very high standard, clean and most satisfying. The owners were really accommodating. They really could not have done anymore. They checked in on me everyday, whilst allowing me to enjoy my alone time. The breakfast was above and beyond. It felt like I was eating at a palace. They served me western and Sri Lankan food, encouraging me to try new variations. The owners themselves are just wonderful people, who will stay in my heart forever. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

I stayed at House - Ayurveda & Wellness for three days and the experience exceeded my expectations. The entire place is serene, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxation. The beachside is simply stunning, offering peace and quiet throughout the stay. The food was excellent, the swimming pool was refreshing, and the cleanliness of the property was flawless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service — the staff went above and beyond, making the stay feel warm and personalized.

I Yala ligger O2 Villas Yala, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en fellesstue, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over sjøen. Wonder villa blending in nature. Superb staff. Incredible beach walk experience. Great restaurant.

I Tissamaharama, 15 kilometer fra Tissa Wewa, ligger Leopard Reach Yala by Seven Angels, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. The size of the tent room was great. Absolutely loved being able to go for a dip in the pool after a hot day. Highly recommend the bbq dinner as this was yet another highlight of our stay.

Ananthaya Beach ligger ved Rekewa-stranden i Tangalle og har døgnåpen resepsjon, et privat strandområde, et basseng og gratis Wi-Fi i fellesområdene. Et lite paradis med lang strand nedenfor. Kort nydelig tur til Rekuwana beatch (skilpadde stranda) Personalet var fantastiske.

This is our first trip to Sri Lanka, and the first few days in Colombo were so tiring for us. But finally, we arrived at The Waves Beach Chalets, and it was our paradise, we could see birds and monkeys from our terrace. It was amazing. The host and his boys were super helpful, kind, and honest. He cares and helps us with everything. I felt so warm and touched. The service is beyond our expectations. The place is so clean and feel like we have our own beach which we can walk and see turtle next door. There are a few restaurants where we can walk from the property to have lunch or dinner. For breakfast will be served at a nice place where we can see the beach, it was super nice. Or if you would like to go somewhere else, the host also can help to arrange tuk-tuk with a reasonable price. We highly recommend this place in case you would like to come to Tangalle. The place is perfect.

Set in large grounds bordered by wetlands, Eagles Nest Cabanas offers rooms with a terrace. A 3-minute walk from the beach, the property has its own restaurant. Great accomodation! Nice and clean rooms. The pool for our little son was perfekt. The area is calm and the view on the lake was awesome. Breakfast and dinner were very good. To the beach it's only about 5-10min walk. To the city it is about 15min ride per tuktuk. Friendly staff.

The hotel is fantastic, small houses facing the sea. Pool is amazing, more on the adult side, as is quite deep and really big! Location is fantastic, it was even swimmable in the ocean (what is not always the case in Tangalle area). The beach is almost empty, just a few resorts in the area. The staff were super sweet and friendly and they play volleyball everyday around 5pm. Food was fantastic, I wanted to check out some restaurants in the area but there was no need really as the menu was extensive and we didn't run out of food to try and the prices were on point. Overall it was really relaxing stay.

I Tangalle, 2 minutters gange fra Tangalle strand, ligger RV Regency 19 Hotel, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. Very convenient, walking distance between hotel and beach, or restaurants, or supermarket, or wine shop. Staff was friendly.

I Tissamaharama, 18 minutters gange fra Kirinda-stranden, ligger Coco Villa Yala, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. This villa is a real little gem. Spacious with nice areas to relax both inside and outside. It is spotlessly clean. The rooms are as good size, dark curtains to block out the light, the bed linen and towels brand new, clean and good quality. The beds really comfy. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The villa is in a quiet location, very close to the national park, good for an early morning start. You can just hear the birds and wildlife. What makes this place though is the host and his son and family. They are really lovely, so welcoming and friendly. We arrived earlier than expected but were greeted with fresh melon and a smile. He was so helpful, he helped us organise our safari, taxi, recommended places to eat and helped with our laundry. If you are looking for a quiet, spotlessly clean place, close to the national park then I would definitely recommend here.
