We felt comfortable from the first minute we arrived. The place was clean and comfortable, the surroundings aesthetically pleasing, the hot tub divine, the pool exquisite. There were even books to read and board games and even video games to play (and childrens' toys stashed away) - just to showcase the amount of thought given to the hospitality of our hosts! The hosts have put a lot of effort and forethought in this place and the experience there. Also we saw a deer with her young, saw a field mouse near the fireplace and heard a lot of birds and hedgehogs rustling in the bushes - the remote location is also perfect for getting in touch with nature.

If You're Lithuanian, You'll be reminded here about Your heritage, about the good old days spent at the grannies' in Lithuanian village, surrounded by fields, forests, where Your TV is wildlife in action and Your only worry is to hope stronger wind will not ruin stork's nest. If You're from abroad, this place will teach You the most beautiful things about Lithuanian nature. You'll get to hear the ancient sound of gray winches, very rare bird (lat. Grus Grus), which used to wonder the woods and fields of Lithuania for centuries. When bathing in outdoor jacuzzi, You will be greeted by an orchestra of very rare frogs with red bellies. Their house is right next to where You'll stay, as they live in a swamp, which also happens to be in a corner of the territory. What a memorable sight! When writing this review, I realize there are so many more great things to mention, such as how well equiped the stay was, how comfortable lounge chairs You get outside, or how loud You can dance according to the favorite music of Yours, because there are no neighbours around. If You read this review until this point, just book the place. It's majestic and worth of every penny!

Mercure Marijampole is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Marijampole, Southern Lithuania. The modern and cosy rooms are designed to provide comfort for both work and relaxation. Very quiet and clean. Breakfast was truly amazing - very rich with one of the best coffees i’ve tried. Slept like a baby on a most comfortable mattress. Oh and i loved the view and the size of the room. Me and my wife we took the biggest room (40 sq m) on the 8th floor - worth every penny 😉 Cheers.

Rezidencija Grįžulo ratai býður upp á nútímalegt athvarf í sveitinni 10 km fyrir utan miðbæ Marijampolė. Everything. Room was big and clean, staff was pleasant. On the second floor there is table football, breakfast included was delicious. Located right beside the motorway and is linked to a petrol station. Very beautiful view from the window, right onto the tower :). Despite the fact that this place is right beside the motorway, it was very quiet at night. 10 out of 10. Definitely will come back again.
