Everything was amazing, since the moment we arrived they were very welcoming and acomodating, they went out of there way to make us feel comfortable, the food was spectacular, the ambiance, the drinks, staff I HIGHLY recommend you come here if you want a relaxing and wonderful time.

We wanted to check out San Pancho on an overnight from Puerto Vallarta. The lodging was well located the staff were very friendly and helpful in allowing us to use bathroom facilities prior to check in and upon leaving after check out. They were very kind in all respects. The accommodations were well appointed and spacious. It was really a well priced apartment like setting. We recommend it highly.

O Avelã Boutique hotel foi uma grata surpresa em Sayulita, excelente instalações. Tudo muito limpo, o quarto super confortável, a ducha uma delícia, cama confortável (só tem cama de casal), travesseiros, iluminação, varandinha para colocar as roupas de praia para secar, estacionamento, frigobar. O café da manhã o menu fixo (com 3 opções), que atenderam muito bem. Funcionários super simpáticos. A localização na estrada não comprometeu, pois foi bem informado. Dar para ir andando, mas recomendo ir de carro para o centro de Sayulita. Principalmente a noite, pois é muito escuro na volta. Os funcionários deram boas dicas. Tem sobrenheiro para praia. Com certeza foi um diferencial na nossa estadia.

There was so much I loved. The location was perfect, being near the town centre, but just far and private enough to be quiet. The grounds are absolutely stunning; it was a pleasure to just spend time at the pool or on the patio, taking in the beautiful courtyard, day or night. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind and take so much care in what they do. The water filtration system at the kitchen and bathroom sinks meant that we never had to think about water, we just filled up our glasses or bottles. Having stayed other places in Mexico on our trip, this felt like an understated luxury. Everything was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was well-appointed with everything you’d need and the room had thoughtful closet space that made our lives easier not having to live out of our bags. Everything here felt like it was chosen with thought and intention. We always remarked upon returning from our day’s adventure how happy we were that we chose this place as it just felt like coming home to a beautiful retreat with everything we needed!

This property has a wonderfully relaxing ambiance that comes from Virgilio himself to start with and then also from the staff and customers, many of whom seem to be regular guests. Breakfast is served outdoors and is a great opportunity to meet fellow guests, swap tales of where to go and generally share our varied (mostly Canadian) backgrounds and make new friends. Although we have previously travelled from Britain to this area of Mexico five times we previously stayed in all inclusive hotels and much prefer Casa Virgilios as a base as you can try local restaurants and explore more.
