Some units have a terrace or a balcony, or a games console. The private bathroom provides a hairdryer and toiletries. This property has a wonderfully relaxing ambiance that comes from Virgilio himself to start with and then also from the staff and customers, many of whom seem to be regular guests. Breakfast is served outdoors and is a great opportunity to meet fellow guests, swap tales of where to go and generally share our varied (mostly Canadian) backgrounds and make new friends. Although we have previously travelled from Britain to this area of Mexico five times we previously stayed in all inclusive hotels and much prefer Casa Virgilios as a base as you can try local restaurants and explore more.

The elegant rooms at Rivera Del Rio feature unique décor and antique furniture. Some have kitchen facilities, patios and views of the river, while all offer cable TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Bar tender by pool was awesome, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, pool views and ambiance were great, lots of friendly fellow travelers made for great vibe. Loved all the unique rooms and different pool environments.

All the suites are richly appointed with a modern-style décor, including flat screen TV, amenities and a distinctive combination of marble and wood detailing. Some units have their own outdoor jacuzzi. We were blown away by this property. Only a 1 night stay but we wish it was longer. The room was spacious, bed very comfortable. Our view of the ocean was jaw dropping, but even more so was the view from the rooftop terrace and infinity pool. Breakfast is self-serve and we enjoyed the large selection of hot dishes. We ate dinner at the restaurant on the rooftop terrace. There was live music and beauty views of Puerto Vallarta (with a fireworks show). The chef was considerate of my dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. The staff are EXCEPTIONAL. They took care of us as soon as we walked through the door until we had to sadly leave. Huge shout outs to Fransisco (front desk) and Luis (bell man) for making our stay so memorable.

Vallarta Shores Condohotel, located on Puerto Vallarta's Los Muertos Beach features one to four bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchen, flat-screen cable TV and a balcony overlooking the beach and Banderas Bay. The staff were fantastic couldn’t have done any more for me. The room was amazing, great views right across from the beach. Photos actually aren’t as good as it looks in real life!
