The Mayana Resort was an excellent choice for that night, being located close to the airport, the Tagbilaran port and some really beautiful beaches of Panglao Island. The food is excellent and special, featuring some Swiss-influenced dishes as well as a range of dishes with ostrich (something you will rarely find in most ASEAN countries). Also worth mentioning is the great value for money.

The place was spotlessly clean, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, worth every penny just to sit and enjoy it all day. The room service was flawless, and the chicken, in particular, was delicious.

Blue Planet is perfectly located just outside the madness of central Alona, which makes it peaceful yet very convenient. Getting around is easy, tuk-tuks and Grab taxis both work well, and Grab is sometimes even cheaper than a tuk-tuk. Going out for dinner is simple using either option, although there is also a restaurant on-site. Lunch options at the hotel are limited to snacks, but the café next door, Blessed Café, is an absolute gem and perfect for brunch or lunch. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a large, comfortable layout. The bathroom is excellent, with strong water pressure and reliably hot water. Everything is very clean, tranquil, and comfortable, ideal for relaxing. The staff are extremely helpful at all times, and the laundry service is fantastic: fast, efficient, and very well done. Overall, an excellent stay that I would happily recommend.

Wir waren eine Woche in Grand Cabins. Vom ersten Moment haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen. Im Vorfeld wurde die Anfahrt vom Hafen zur Unterkunft für uns geregelt. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber mit ein schönen Pool zum entspannen. Unser Zimmer war modern eingerichtet mit einer super leisen Klimaanlage. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, kümmern sich und gehen auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein. Sei es um das organisieren des Mofa Verleih, oder organisieren unseres Transport von der Unterkunft zum Strand usw. Das Frühstück war top und lecker. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir sagen danke für die schöne Woche

The experience was amazing, and it was a great value for money. The hostess is very kind and helps us to find a driver to our day trip. We like the location, 10 minutes walk from a beautiful and quiet beach. 10 minutes walk from the main road, where there are some restaurants, sari sari and also a great laundry place. If you want to arrive at the tourist's area it is just a 10-minute drive.

I am as satisfied with my stay as one could possibly be. The villa is stunning and beautifully designed. There are so many thoughtful details that make the stay more enjoyable that it’s hard to list them all. But listen to this: Xbox, Bluetooth speaker, projector, on-site scooter rentals, swimming pool, outdoor bathrooms, and even mineral water straight from the tap. On top of that, Jane and Stephanie were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our trip. Their hospitality went far beyond high-quality service—it’s hard to put into words how much they enhanced our stay and made traveling around the island easier. In short: I have very high standards when it comes to accommodations, but here, I was impressed by literally every little thing. 10/10!
