The location is quiet and relaxing, about 15 minutes from Alona Beach — far enough to avoid the noise but still close enough to get there easily by scooter or tricycle. We actually loved being away from the crowds and coming back to a calm, green oasis at the end of the day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with a cold drink and friendly smiles, and the service stayed consistently amazing throughout our stay. Big shoutout to Diana, who was always super helpful and professional, and to Anna at the bar and restaurant – she’s a gem! Our room was spacious, super clean, and really comfortable. Great bed, strong A/C, a nice modern bathroom, and even a balcony overlooking the pool. The little touches like a large safe (big enough for a laptop), fridge, and blackout curtains made a big difference. The pool was a favorite — clean, big enough to swim properly, and even has a deep end (over 7ft!). It's perfect for cooling off in the heat. Just watch the edges – they can be a bit rough, but it didn’t bother us. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we ended up eating there most nights. They offer everything from Filipino dishes to Austrian options (yes, ostrich burger too!), and the staff were happy to accommodate special requests — like making a veggie curry or poached eggs even though they weren’t on the menu. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with several options to choose from. The coffee and fresh juice were a great way to start the day. And when we had to leave early one morning for diving, they packed us up a breakfast to go — such a thoughtful touch! They also rent out good scooters, which made getting around super easy. And if you don’t drive, the staff can quickly call a tricycle or taxi for you.

Luxurious might be a big word, but this place felt luxurious compared to other accommodations in the Philippines. The landscaped courtyard is really big, with a lovely pool and a beautifully designed eating area around it. The room was really spacious, with big beds, fridge, quiet AC and a drying rack on the porch outside the door. The staff was kind and they helped us with the laundry and to book a car. The whole place is secluded and, therefore, it is blissfully quiet.

De ligging is perfect, lekker rustig maar dichtbij alles. Eten is er super, de eigenaar is een top chefkok. Echt een aanrader

Grand Cabins ligt op 12 minuten lopen van Alona Beach en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. Ik heb hier een heel prettig verblijf gehad. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam: ik kon via hen een scooter regelen, kreeg een mooie route en goede tips om Bohol te ontdekken, en ook het vervoer van en naar de haven was perfect geregeld.

Dom's Oase bevindt zich op 8 minuten lopen van Libaong White Beach en biedt een buitenzwembad en een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een patio en gratis WiFi. Everything was just brilliant. Fantastic find. highly recommend

I am as satisfied with my stay as one could possibly be. The villa is stunning and beautifully designed. There are so many thoughtful details that make the stay more enjoyable that it’s hard to list them all. But listen to this: Xbox, Bluetooth speaker, projector, on-site scooter rentals, swimming pool, outdoor bathrooms, and even mineral water straight from the tap. On top of that, Jane and Stephanie were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our trip. Their hospitality went far beyond high-quality service—it’s hard to put into words how much they enhanced our stay and made traveling around the island easier. In short: I have very high standards when it comes to accommodations, but here, I was impressed by literally every little thing. 10/10!
