Absolutely gorgeous, historic property, even more beautiful than is possible to show in photos. Our room was much larger than we expected, with a lovely balcony and view. The service from all of the staff from the front desk to the restaurant, was exceptional. We had a fantastic dinner and breakfast on site. Fabulous stay in Evora.

A recently renovated guest house in Selmes and within 35 km of Alqueva Dam, B&B Casa da Ponte Selmes Vidigueira features pool with a view, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Da Ponte! The house is beautiful, full of charm, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The beds were also extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home during the whole week. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. Even our teenagers loved the place, which says a lot! The breakfasts were delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding region. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

But I soon found out they run an honesty drinks supply from the kitchen Beer soft drinks wine and even spirts all you do is record what you take. It like Ben at home. It was such a privilege to stay right in the heart of a beautiful medieval village. The property is outstanding. Heaps of space, extremely well appointed, especially if you want to cook your own meals. And why not when the views from your terrace are so picturesque. Our host provided lots of helpful information in advance and responded promptly to our questions. The bed was very comfortable and there was zero noise at night so sleep was a breeze. Make sure you follow the advice to drive to the property exactly so you don’t end up down a narrow back street.
