The meals were generous and absolutely delicious.

Located within the walls of the Marvão Castle, at the top of the high village of Marvão, Dom Dinis Marvão features a rooftop terrace with a Jacuzzi® and panoramic views of the countryside below. Staff very pleasant. Looked after us very well indeed. Were upgraded on arrival. Hot-tub a boon. Fantastic panoramic view from balcony. Lovely continental breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. They leveled up the standard for how a hotel should be, super friendly staff and supper clean. One of the best getaway places in Europe.

Wow, this place is such a nice little oasis in Alentejo. Nice garden, pool, and hot tub. You can tell the owners really put a lot of care into fixing the place up. All of the little details are well thought out. The owners Dennis and Anouk are very nice and friendly. The beds are comfortable and the shower has lots of hot water with good pressure. Highly recommend paying for the breakfast. Can't wait to come back

Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! Boutique hotel with personal service. Breakfast was served, fantastic, no buffet. Staff was very attentive. Our airconditioning failed with was notable at the reception, directly the staff knocked out our door to fix it. Quality bedding and clean. Nice rooms. All rooms have special names with dedicated sweet referred to the room type. 15 minutes walk time downtown.

It was such a privilege to stay right in the heart of a beautiful medieval village. The property is outstanding. Heaps of space, extremely well appointed, especially if you want to cook your own meals. And why not when the views from your terrace are so picturesque. Our host provided lots of helpful information in advance and responded promptly to our questions. The bed was very comfortable and there was zero noise at night so sleep was a breeze. Make sure you follow the advice to drive to the property exactly so you don’t end up down a narrow back street.

Passo do Lobo - Turismo Rural อยู่ในโมราโดยห่างจากเขื่อน Alqueva Dam 12 กม. และห่างจากปราสาท Monsaraz Castle 49 กม. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The warm welcome from Fatima and Juan. The cleanliness of the house and our room. The comfortable bed and shower. The delicious homemade breakfast that had everything you can imagine. Very abundant and truly tasty. Thank you Fatima and Juan for the wonderful stay.
