Located within the walls of the Marvão Castle, at the top of the high village of Marvão, Dom Dinis Marvão features a rooftop terrace with a Jacuzzi® and panoramic views of the countryside below. Awesome location in fantastic wee walled town perched on top of a rocky hill. We loved that it was an old building but with modern facilities. Clean, tidy, friendly staff, comfy bed, nice shower and bonus of the spa which could be booked for privacy. Great to have breakfast included. We went at a quieter time and I'm pretty sure we got a free upgrade as our room had a balcony and view.

Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. Absolutely gorgeous, historic property, even more beautiful than is possible to show in photos. Our room was much larger than we expected, with a lovely balcony and view. The service from all of the staff from the front desk to the restaurant, was exceptional. We had a fantastic dinner and breakfast on site. Fabulous stay in Evora.

The staff were exceptional and friendly.The breakfast was plentyful, and a good variety of items to choose from to eat. Anna Moseto is the queen of the kitchen. Thank you for everything.

The house is beautiful, full of charm, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The beds were also extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home during the whole week. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made our stay unforgettable. Even our teenagers loved the place, which says a lot! The breakfasts were delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding region. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

Very tranquil and beautiful property surrounded by green and with ample space to unwind and feel comfortable. Use of large well equipped community kitchen was very helpful. Our hosts Leny and Jerome were brilliant and couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating! What a lovely little family (with little Edouard) who work incessantly to maintain the property and make the experience very personable and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes and crepes, plus other savory items plus a glass of fresh pressed orange juice.

It was such a privilege to stay right in the heart of a beautiful medieval village. The property is outstanding. Heaps of space, extremely well appointed, especially if you want to cook your own meals. And why not when the views from your terrace are so picturesque. Our host provided lots of helpful information in advance and responded promptly to our questions. The bed was very comfortable and there was zero noise at night so sleep was a breeze. Make sure you follow the advice to drive to the property exactly so you don’t end up down a narrow back street.

The cleanliness of the house and our room. The comfortable bed and shower. The delicious homemade breakfast that had everything you can imagine. Very abundant and truly tasty.
