The view from the hotel is breathtaking, the hotel park and surrounding really well kept with beautiful gardens. The restaurant was really good with authentic Portuguese food at a really good price and the breakfast the next day was really complete and fresh. The staff was very kind, they could accommodate the breakfast 30 min earlier since we needed to leave early. Would definitely recommend!

Tambien hay una piscina exterior que invita al baño pero no fuimos en temporada de verano. Las zonas comunes son muy acogedoras con un salon que tambien está orientado al valle.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The rooms and common space was amazing and super clean! The lady that helped us with the check in was really friendly and kind! Fabulous property which was a perfect place to explore the Douro valley. The host Helena and her daughter were extremely welcoming. Breakfast each morning was a feast and served by Helena. The property is spacious, very clean and had all the facilities required for the perfect stay including a hot tub, pool table and honesty bar.

We had the most wonderful suite for our 3 night stay - spacious and beautifully furnished with lots of little extras. And a magnificent view of the Douro River from our room and private, tree shaded patio with a little pool to cool off in. We had picnic baskets delivered to our room for dinner and were happy to spend time in the beautiful space.

The fact that there are only 10 rooms and that everything was made to respect the surroundings is amazing. The feeling is one of a luxury cabin. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is on the (very) small size, as is the shower. The food is good quality, set dinner as well as snacks. The service is very faultless.
