great views and shared facilities - terrace, hot tub, shaded back garden. delicious plentiful breakfast. spacious unit. short water outage on the last morning (general outage in the village, ~1 hour total), we were allowed late checkout to make time for showers etc.

Friendly and attentive staff. The entire hotel is clean, in good condition and well maintained. Good location for exploring the rest of Serra de Estrela as it saves you at least an hour’s worth of travel every day compared to towns in the valley. Restaurant has a large enough menu to try something different every evening and all is delicious. On a rainy day I just relaxed in the spa (sauna and small swimming pool)

The house itself is very pleasant. It is not big but it surely has all that you need. Perfect for a couple, still very good for a family of four. The kitchen has the necessary equipment and the bathroom is also totally functional and clean. The small living room has a nice TV to spend some time relaxing at night. It is located in a small village with a quiet sphere. There is a square close to the house where parking can be found but there are not many spaces there. The breakfast is on you, so stock up in a local supermarket before going home!

Location is very convenient, house is well maintained, the hosts are beyond the best. They are very welcoming, gave us a lot of useful information, answered all the questions very fast, met us with homemade sweets that was lovely. Despite unexpectedly cold weather we felt very comfortable in the house. The bed linen was made of fleece and there were heaters in each room and bathroom. There’s enough space for everything and everybody.

The room was quite spacious and had an excellent view. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had warm water all the time. I didn't get to use the spa, so if you are coming here, do bring a swimsuit.

As a budget bikepacker I like good value. This property provided that. Spacious living room plus kitchen and dining area. Spacious bedroom and bathroom all furnished with old time and unique decor. And such a location. Quiet, cobbled mountain village. I loved it here. You could spend a week here easy, to unwind. Lots of hikes to do.

Beautiful old spacious house, with modern bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds were comfy and bedding great. The communal are is big and beautiful, feels like going back in time because of the use of stone and size of the area. It is however cozy with ample heating provided when it got cold. Enough games , including a snooker table to keep us occupied while it was raining and cold. The host is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Overall a memorable stay

Comfortable and spacious room with a tiny nice balcony. The breakfast buffet was rich and delicious. But the best part was the staff, always helpful and friendly, they really made our visit relaxing and delightful. Thanks for everything!
