Overall, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for relaxation and great service.

In the country overlooking the valley and the town. Facilities were new and owner Sarah was super. After driving from Madrid and arriving around 3:30 we didn’t want the hassle of driving into town for dinner (town is typical rural Portugal) but every restaurant in the area delivers so we sat by the pool, had a beer or wine, jumped into the jacuzzi and waited for food. Bed very comfortable, shower great and lots of stars at night. There are not many rooms so we had the whole grounds to ourselves 😀 Plus the national park is in the vicinity for hiking the next day.

Nice, warm house due to A/C in bedrooms and living room, very clean, comfortable beds. We would like to return in the summer to enjoy the terrace, swimming pool and BBQ facilities. We didn't have the chance to use the jacuzzi this time.
