Pensiunea Parâng has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Târgu Jiu. This 5-star hotel offers a kids' club, room service and free WiFi. Room was very spacious and very modern, we enjoyed a huuuuge terrace and a nice view, as we stayed at one of the top floors. Everything in the villa is brand new and still smells as fresh wood. The villa is placed in a nice neighborhood. Staff was very polite and professional. We stayed only for one night and although we had only one breakfast included in the reservation, and we were 2 persons, when we offered to pay for the second breakfast, the receptionist said that she discussed with the owner and the second breakfast was from the house and there is no need to pay. Definitely we will come back!

Boasting a spa and wellness centre and views of pool, VALEA MAGURII is a recently renovated guest house situated in Novaci, 24 km from Ranca Ski Resort. All was just GREAT. This pension offers all you could need. Clean and luxury rooms, heated big pool, sauna, jacuzzi. We enjoyed our one night before Transalpina trip. Next time we aregoing to stay looonger 🙂 Our host was so kind, nothing was problem. Breakfast very rich and delicious coffee.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Transalpina Tiny House - outdoor jacuzzi is a recently renovated villa situated in Baia de Fier, 24 km from Ranca Ski Resort. Beautiful house in a very intimate setting, it was clean, spacious, and comfortable! The house was equipped with everything we needed, including the barbecue. Access and parking was easy as well - the hosts were very friendly and provided lots of useful info about the house and activities/restaurants nearby. The jacuzzi is also a must try when staying here!

Pensiunea Iris features a restaurant, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Turcineşti. It’s a gemstone. It has a pool bar, the staff is very welcoming and the food is as saying “ca la mama acasa”. I think that 5 stars is a low rating for this accommodation. 10 stars from our part.

Wonderful host, spacious rooms, big property, heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna. Great value for money. Excellent starting point for driving to the Transalpina road.

Located in Novaci in the Gorj region and Ranca Ski Resort reachable within 24 km, PENSIUNEA MIHAELA-Transalpina provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a private beach area and... Everything was great, to bad we only stayed for one night. Plenty of attractive activities available in the area and on the premises, that could be enjoyed over a long weekend or even a whole week.
